Parasite: Bong Joon-Ho is back with a bang!

With the Palme d’Or and a recent Golden Globe ‘Parasite’ truly is one of the best films I have ever seen.

Bong Joon – Ho brilliantly stitches humour, drama and suspense to create an impeccably shot cinematic experience – that is extremely relevant, thought provoking and gut wrenchingly beautiful.

Bong Joon-Ho’s work continues to exude a sense of urgency and importance and ‘Parasite’ is no different – with a focus on the class divide that is as ubiquitous as it has ever been.

Plots, sub-plots and metaphorical depictions point towards a painstaking attention to detail that is extremely rare in cinema today.
Parasite proves that there is so much more that still needs to be explored. This is a win for the auteur. This is a win for foreign films. It’s time they got noticed. As in the words of the director himself, “Once you overcome the one inch tall barrier of subtitles, you will be introduced to so many more amazing films.”
