Tom Hanks stars as a captain of an armada of battleships – as the allied forces sail for Britain – escorting a convoy of merchant and supply ships across the Atlantic all the while defending them against the dreaded German U-Boats.
Greyhound’ is unrelentingly tense and an extremely good nail biting, edge of your seat war time drama with a steadfast yet conflicted Tom Hanks – who mesmerizingly dissolves into his character and steers the film effortlessly past those torpedoes.
It’s a shame this had to be released on the small screen though. This right here is a cinematic experience and deserves to be screened once theaters open up again.
